Business Services: FAQ

Is this coaching or consulting?

It’s both!

consultant is an advisor. They’re an expert you bring in to help you learn or improve areas of your business that are not in your skill set, not the best use of your time or simply not a passion you have. A consultant will tell you what needs to be done, when, how and (hopefully) why.

What a consultant doesn’t necessarily do, however, is figure out how to best help you understand your needs and those of your business, and motivate you to implement necessary changes. That’s where a coach comes in. A coach will also help you discover and keep you aligned with your purpose and values and explore the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back. Your coach acts as a partner to provide support and accountability for executing the kinds of action plans a consultant recommends.

In my experience, clients thrive with a combination of coaching and consulting, and the service I offer incorporates both approaches.

How do I know if I need coaching or consulting?

Whether you need a business bootcamp, a thoughtful partner, or simply a fresh pair of eyes, chances are that you (and your business) could benefit from working with a consultant or coach.

The unique blend of my background in operations and management, consulting expertise, and focus on personal development allows me to create a niche professional and personal growth opportunity for my clients. The hallmarks of our work together will be

  • Personal and professional goal setting
  • Empowerment
  • Accountability
  • Sustainability

What kinds of clients do you work with?

I work primarily with small business owners in wellness-adjacent fields. That can mean anything from an acupuncture clinic to a food delivery service–I am excited about working with people who are driven by their care for the wellness outcomes of their users, clients or patients.

Flexibility and personal growth are two of the main ingredients of building and growing a successful business, and small business owners and their employees consistently impress me with their dedication to their business, to each other, and to their clients.

What does working with you look like?

I believe that two of the most critical factors for success are compassion and empowerment, and my role is essentially part project manager and part therapist.

I am a deliberate communicator, thoughtfully asking critical questions and providing insightful feedback and actionable solutions tailored to individual needs. While different people require different toolkits for achievement, I have found that I get the best results–whether it’s in terms of growth metrics or protocol compliance–through a combination of teaching and accountability.

I look forward to hearing about your business and needs in a complimentary 30-minute call and exploring how our work together could transform your experience!
